For many years, I have made concise summaries of important medical articles for my own reference. Following my retirement, I decided to share these summaries with fellow practitioners, creating a practical and growing clinical knowledge resource.
Dr Charles Schoeman is a retired Specialist Family Practitioner with more than 35 years of experience in family medicine. Throughout his career, he regarded medicine not simply as a profession, but as a calling—one centred on serving patients, continually learning, and mentoring younger doctors. In retirement, he believes it is time to give back to the medical community by sharing the knowledge he has gathered over decades of practice.
